Mumiy Troll Postpones U.S. Live Appearances, Cancels SXSW
Ilya Lagutenko, lead singer of Russian band Mumiy Troll, fell ill in the early morning hours of March 1, following a concert at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. Lagutenko is recovering after a successful appendectomy.
Mumiy Troll’s shows March 3 and 4 at The Independent in San Francisco and March 5 and 6 at The Roxy in Los Angeles will be rescheduled at a later date. Additionally, Mumiy Troll’s appearance later this month at the Austin, Texas music conference South By Southwest (SXSW) is canceled due to health reasons stated above.
SXSW wishes Mr Lagutenko a speedy recovery.
