Girl Gamers are Better at Teamwork Says Morgan Romine
Former SXSW Interactive Festival speaker Morgan Romine is quoted in the story “Women Carve Out Place in the Video Game Space” in today’s Chicago Tribune. She tells the paper that “girls can play just as well as guys, But there are subtle differences. We tend to be better at communicating strategy, which is critical when you’re playing in a team. Male gamers have a bit more ego. Girls are more willing to cooperate.” A member of the Frag Dolls, Romaine spoke on the “Girl Video Gamers Teach You the Facts About Successful Marketing” panel at the ScreenBurn portion of the 2007 event.
