Synopsis:
Over a span of three months, this emotionally charged verite-style documentary traces the lives of four delinquents as they head towards a life-changing experience. Each student - some as young as eight - hails from a different background, but all are products of China's one child policy. Telling their stories in their own words, they are pushed well beyond their boundaries as they embark on a physically and emotionally rigorous journey towards maturity. Mainland China serves as the backdrop to this drama as these kids brave the toughest winter of their lives. Director's Bio:
