Synopsis:
WARLORD is about a ten-year-old boy who, frustrated and confused by the world around him, decides to break free and flee into the wilderness. Other kids follow him, and soon the little Warlord has built a tribe of his own.

Director's Bio:
David Garrett's first short, Clown Car, traveled to dozens of festivals worldwide and returned with several awards that now proudly festoon his parents' mantelpiece. He holds a partial degree in wines and spirits, and once made a few bottles of really dynamite absinthe. He learned to bullfight from a Portuguese matador in Mexico, and nearly married an enormous opera singer. He is currently working toward his MFA in film at Columbia University, where his latest screenplay, ÁA Caballo!, has won top honors.
