Synopsis:
Uses a form of clock-work puppetry to portray a kitchen's transformation. The sink over-flows causing the room to flood. As the water rises, the kitchen sprouts to life. Materials include a variety of found objects including book covers, crayon wax, a dresser drawer, and a suitcase, combined with water.

Director's Bio:
Jeanne Stern creates miniature microcosms with dioramas and film puppetry. Her work has screened in a variety of festivals including Heather Henson's traveling film festival "Handmade Puppet Dreams." She recently completed her MFA in Film at UT, Austin, and received her BA in Studio Art from Connecticut College. Jeanne lives in Austin and works as a video producer and animator. She is currently collaborating on a stereoscopic puppet film commissioned by the Connecticut College Arts & Technology Symposium.
