Daytime Programming · Making Ideas Real
"SXSW Interactive is about what is happening now, and what's happening now is different than what was happening a year ago, and very different than what was happening just five years ago. An amorphous name for an amorphous concept." — John Gruber, daringfireball.net
An incubator of new, cutting-edge technologies, the SXSW Interactive Festival is ground zero for the world's most creative web developers, designers, bloggers, wireless innovators and new media entrepreneurs. Stay ahead of the curve by attending this annual gathering of the brightest minds in emerging technology.
Current plans for 2008 call for more than 150 total panels and solo presentations. This daytime programming will begin on Friday afternoon, March 7 and continue through Tuesday afternoon, March 11. For each day except Friday, the schedule includes four 60-minute timeslots per day, and eight different sessions going on at any one time. SXSW Interactive is all about sensory overload!
Lists of speakers and panel titles and panels by category have now been posted to the SXSW Interactive website. Stay tuned for updates and additions to these lists. Also, be sure to check out the two new additions to the 2008 programming lineup: Book Readings and Core Conversations. Have ideas, suggestions or questions? E-mail interpanels at sxsw.com.
