You Talk, We Listen: Submitting Your Panel Idea

Over the years, many of the most compelling panels and presentations for the SXSW Interactive Festival have come directly from the online community. In 2007, we unveiled the Panel Picker to help formalize this process of submitting programming ideas. This interface has proved to be an incredibly valuable tool in terms of culling some of the world's most innovative and creative thinking about the ever-evolving state of new media.

When the submission process for the 2009 event closed on Friday, July 11, we had received more than 1100 ideas from across the United States and around the world. These ideas will be displayed on the Panel Picker voting interface, which is scheduled to go live on Friday, August 8. If you would missed the July 11 deadline and would like to apply for an extension to submit your idea, then please e-mail us immediately at this address.
