Eugene Mirman to Emcee SXSW Web Awards Ceremony

We are pleased to announce that Eugene Mirman will emcee the 11th Annual SXSW Web Awards Ceremony // Presented by Adobe. A comedian, writer and filmmaker recently spotted as the landlord in HBO's "Flight of the Conchords," Mirman often tours doing comedy in theaters and rock clubs. He is looking forward to the March event, describing SXSW as "a chance for innovators, bloggers, new media junkies and all sorts of tech-geeks to meet up, get drunk and share awkward stories about their weird families. And network."

Although finalists are announced in early February, winners in each of the Web Awards categories (ranging from "Amusement" to "Blog" to "Music" to "Technical Achievement") will be revealed at the SXSW Web Awards Ceremony scheduled at 7:30pm on Sunday evening, March 9 at the Hilton Austin Downtown. This highly-entertaining evening includes the Web Awards Pre-Party along with plenty of talented industry peers.
