Since forming at the end of 2005, Winnipeg’s The Details have hardly gone a day without seeing each other. The Details have quickly established themselves as a hard-working band by releasing their EP 'Marching Sound' in November 2006 and their full-length 'Draw a Distance. Draw a Border.' in September 2007.

The Details, not content to sit around, have played at the 2006 Western Canadian Music Awards, Canadian Music Week 2007, New Music West 2007, North By Northeast 2007, and Pop Montreal 2007. Much Music also graced the streets of Winnipeg in May and conducted an interview with The Details which aired nationally in June.

Having traveled the snowy highways of Canada on two winter tours, The Details spent July of 2007 traveling from Vancouver to Halifax, and crossed the country again in October of 2007.

2008 has already been a busy year for The Details who debuted at 107 on the CMJ charts, cracking the top 100 a week later. They also had a song placed on NBC’s new series 'Lipstick Jungle'.

This spring will see The Details attend both Canadian Music Week and South By Southwest music festivals, which will be followed by another coast to coast Canadian tour in April and May.
