My Education was formed in 1999 and has played over 300 shows all over the United States, sharing the stage with artists like Pelican, the Red Sparowes, the Black Angels, Six Organs of Admittance, Trans Am, Tone, Bardo Pond, A Place to Bury Strangers, Isis and many others. The band has released three full-length albums, several singles, including a 12” vinyl collaboration with avant hiphoppers Dalek, and several compilation appearances, as well as scoring and performing live two original movie soundtrack scores. My Education been remixed by Kinski, Pelican, the Red Sparowes and the aforementioned Dalek. They have just been signed to Portland OR label Strange Attractors Audio House and their new album Bad Vibrations will be released on June 10, 2008 with a West Coast tour to follow.
