After worldwide success with London club sensation, Dirty Vegas, in 2007 songwriter Steve Smith set out to create the album he felt he really wanted to make.

With a move to Boston came the inspiration to go into the studio and record "This Town" - a collection of heartfelt songs about love, change and finding where you should be.

On the recordings, Steve is joined by friends Anthony Saffery (Cornershop), John Savage ("The Deer Hunter", "Hair"), Rob Swift (The X-Ecutioners, Ill Insanity), Claudia Gonson (The Magnetic Fields), Jay Ungar ("Legends of the Fall")and others.

Live, Steve brings his vocal power and the simple beauty of his songs to the audience in a straight forward and unfiltered show of top notch singer songwriter-manship.

It's not easy to turn your back on super success and make a new road on your own, and Steve Smith is walking that road with style and a solid collection of songs that prove that he is, at last, going to the places he wants to be.
