Kris used to be in The Capes until their split last year.
He had a bunch of friends here in Athens GA and he loved a bunch of the elephant 6 bands so I ended up moving there a couple of years ago.

Pretty soon after he moved here he borrowed some equipment from a few of the locals (a few instruments from some pretty legendary albums were used) and headed down to Andy Baker's (of "Servotron", and "The Glands") studio with an air organ and some guitars and set to work recording some demo's.

It' sort of sing along, but noisy, rocking, but occasionally beautiful, poppy, skewed, pop.

Big guitary Hooks and choruses, but also sad synth instrumentals, + unexpected starts and stops and perhaps time changes.

RIYL Grandaddy, Stereolab, Blur, Wire, Broadcast, Mercury Rev, Pavement, Analogue synths, pogoing.

They have the best singles, and biggest hooks of any new band in the world. It's true.

Initially it featured a rotating cast featuring members of "The Capes","Mendoza Line", "Je Suis France", "Masters Of The Hemisphere", "The Glands", "The Low Lows" and randomly "Scritti Polliti".

However now they are a proper band and the line up is:

Kris - Guitars & Vox
Eli - Bas & Vox
Shane - Guitars
Chase - Drums
Brian - Synths

Eli & Chase have just moved up from Jacksonville. Chase owns Glow studios and recorded "The Black Kids" E.P "Wizard Of Ahhs" there. Cool eh?

Brian & Shane both used to be in Pacific U.V and are both huge Anglophiles, so they do whatever Kris says. Which is awesome. Shane cuts all of their hair. Which is also handy, as otherwise we'd end up looking like grizzly Adams on the road. He's t(hair) very own Vince Noir.

Together they use their special powers to fight crime and rock.
