Consisting of former members of Blue Ash, Stiv Bators Dead Boys, and The Infidels...Ohio's "Deadbeat Poets" have a rock / pop /punk lineage that runs very deep! Frank Secich and Terry Hartman began writing new material in earnest in March of 2006, with recording at Pete Drivere's Ampreon Recorder studio in Youngstown, Ohio in late 2006.
With guest appearances by Blue Ash member Bill "Cupid" Bartolin and Chris Leonardi, "Notes From the Underground" was released on New Jersey's "Pop Detective Records" in August of 2007 and will be released on Vivid Sound in Japan in September, 2007. USA Today's Ken Barnes writes "..it captivated me - terrific, tuneful rock songs."
