Billy Harvey has been playing his own brand of Post Modern Pop for over ten years. A true poet at heart, Billy’s lyrics are penetrating, whether it’s a fragile love song, an expression of loneliness, or one of his quirky musings.
Billy lives in Austin and has gained respect and admiration from musicians and fans alike - not only as a songwriter but also as a producer, working with great artists including Charlie Mars, Bob Schneider, Kacy Crowley, Blu Sanders, Steve Poltz, Craig Ross and others.
Billy’s last release ‘Bearsick’ received outstanding reviews and broke into the Top 100 on the CMJ Charts. He is also the recipient of the 2006 International Songwriters Award for Best Rock Song “Frozen Thorough”, and his website has won various media and internet awards including the Interactive Design Award 2005 at South By Southwest.
