Nosaprise is picking up the pace in a city known for it's slowed down music.Growing up on the southwest side of Houston Tx, Nosaprise real name Nosa Edebor had a love for everything from De La Soul to Fela Kuti to Minor Threat. Now this Houston area school teacher brings Hip-Hop, Soul and Breaks together with the do it yourself spirit of the punk rock movement. Sharing the stage with respected artist like Atmosphere, RJD2, The Coup ,Blueprint and Planet Asia along with Legends like DJ Kool Herc and Digital Underground. Nosaprise is original, sincere, thought provoking and has been described by the Houston Chronicle as "Smart hip hop it's intelligent, thoughtful, socially and politically minded music." Nosaprise returns to SXSW in one of the hottest showcases this festival has to offer and his brand new debut album GROWNFOLKS MUSIC alongside some of the illest bboys in the game and Dj Bobby Trill behind him his live show is just that.
