I am a Griot from Senegal, West Africa. A Griot is an oral historian whose music is the tool to communicate and preserve his culture. I am a master player of the kora and the drums. I am also a celebrated songwriter who has collaborated with Bela Fleck on my latest CD called MY FAMILY. I have played music since I can remember, and the music I am playing now sounds like Afro-beat/World Music.
