Swati is a NY based artist whose debut album, Small Gods, was released on Bluhammock Music in May 2007 to positive reviews and airplay on taste maker stations like KCRW. A child prodigy on trombone, Swati abandoned a full scholarship at Julliard, electing to launch her own songwriting and guitar playing career. Using an eight string guitar, unconventional tunings and a myriad of 'stomp boxes' for color, Swati has created a powerful and original voice on guitar. Combined with her unflinching and honest lyrics, Swati has emerged as a talent to be reckoned with.
