Foot Patrol is the only foot fetish funk band in existence. Blind singer and keyboard extraordinaire, T.J. Wade, combines virtuostic playing and singing with an uncommon love for feet. The sound is reminiscent of 80's Minneapolis funk, and the comical lyrics are exclusively about his fondness for stinky feet. T.J. Wade is backed by a group of veteran Austin musicians and a pair of sexy androgynous cop dancers. Their live shows have garnered enthusiastic praise as "must see" visual and auditory spectacles. In 2007 they have self-released two full length cd's and one e.p. The name of their latest cd is "Smellabration."
