Pioneering '70s teenage power pop garage band was hailed as Tex-Mex Beatles for their vocal harmonies and raw, youthful sound. The Krayolas are back with a bilingual hit remake of Augie Meyers "Little Fox," a 1967 track originally for the Sir Douglas Quintet. Meyers is adding his trademark Vox organ and accordion sound to the Krayolas comeback album, which will include "We've Got a Secret (We Will Never
Tell)" and "La Conquistadora." The San Antonio band recently released a 16-song compilation of out-of-print, indie vinyl singles: "Best Riffs Only" on the Box label. |
