One of the major strengths and forces behind Shri is his band. It has the hard groove of dance, the blinding energy of rock, the improvisation of jazz and the mysticism and melody of Indian classical music together with an additional element of each members blinding virtuosity to it all. The sound comprises electronic beats, with banging acoustic drums, with tablas and beautiful mountainous flutes, with considered/conscious vocals.

Shri brings some of his multi-instrumentalist talent on to stage with him mainly featuring on Bass, Bass percussion, Bowed bass, Tablas, Flutes and a bit of Indian vocals percussion called ‘Bols’.

Shri is working on a new album to be released early 2008. The current album which he is promoting is 'East Rain' - released in the UK and France.

The new 'Shri' band has an excitement unparalleled and has to be experienced!
