Dublin-based 4-piece Delorentos released one of the most hotly anticipated Irish albums of 2007, In Love With Detail, on nascent Irish independent label Cottage on 20 April 2007. The album entered the Irish charts @ number 7.

The band drifted together in the usual fashion……… inspired by boredom, creative energy, and a passion for music - obvious reference points are Pixies, The Cure, The Clash and Arcade Fire; more oblique influences slide in from most genres of music and virtually every decade from the 50s onwards.

2007 began with the release of "Basis Of Everything" in February, coinciding with dates in the U.S. Throughout the summer months, Delorentos played a string of festival dates which included Oxegen, Electric Picnic & as support to the Arctic Monkeys @ Malahide Castle . Upcoming shows include their biggest headline Irish date in the Ambassador, Dublin (1,300 capacity), a nine date UK tour followed by dates in Spain & Italy in Janueary.
