Andrew Collberg's ability to create poetic lyrics with simple yet gorgeous melodies is stock and trade. Having written, self produced and performed all the instrumentation on his 2006 self-titled release, Collberg showcased his collective talent with a wide scope of sounds. High praise from music critics comparing him to the likes of Dylan and Lennon led to his 2006 Tucson Area Music Award for “Best New Artist.” Andrew appreciates the kind words but knows that he’s got a long way to go to ever earn such comparisons. But what's evident is that ever humble artist is off to a good start.
