P.O. Box 576 Cruz Bay, St. John U.S.V.I. 00831 Greetings to the SXSW Family! We are simply known as "Inner Visions". Our Message is a message of Love and nothing else! We try our best to help raise the standard of the reggae music we’ve grown to know and love. A respected force within the Virgin Islands for years, this band has paid its dues. We hope that we can be a part of your presentation in 2008. I’m sure your audiences will enjoy this total package as they grasp a bit of our intense live stage performances. We just recently returned from our 6th state side tour and also had the opportunity to do our 1st European tour and already we are receiving invitations for a 2008 European return. Inner Visions are Phillip “Grasshopper” Pickering one of two lead vocalist, lead/rhythm guitarist, and percussionist. He is brother to Alvin “Jupiter” Pickering who is the bassist. “Jupiter” sings a mean falsetto that can be quite outstanding in the strong harmonies the band is quite known for. Paul “Osisi” Samms is the elder in the band and hails from our sister Island of Jamaica. His lead vocal styling is unique and his ability to dazzle his fans with his percussions is legendary. Akiba “Mr. Snooze” Pickering is the keyboardist/dancehall rapper who along with Aswad “Hollywood” Pickering (drummer), are the two sons of “Grasshopper.” Enjoy the vibes!
