I play guitar and write music.

My first album Jazz Camp was a semi-traditional quartet. Suburban Life features a 9-piece band that ranges from composed rock to free jazz and back again.

I write and play in a band called Torch. I also play in different combos (that's jazz) and rock out with people that sing and write music.

I'm trying to write music I like to hear and play the way my heroes play. Turns out it's more about courage and less about how to actually play an instrument.

All of this takes place in Austin, Texas.
