The son of pioneering zydeco music performer John Delafose, Geno Delafose's musical career started at age 7 when he first joined his father's legendary Eunice Playboys family zydeco band. 30 year's later, Geno is now widely hailed in his own right as one of Southwest Louisiana's premiere Creole zydeco and Cajun French music performers. Along with his crack French Rockin' Boogie ensemble - Geno takes his unique blend of Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, Rock, R&B and Country to over 150 concerts, University performing art centers, international jazz festivals and rural country dance halls each year.
