Here begins the Year of Pattern is Movement. Founders and current players Andrew Thiboldeaux and Chris Ward have been at arms length from almost everywhere these past twenty-four months, touring the US with friends (including St. Vincent and David Bazan) and rustling the leaves and feathers of everything in-between as they majestically hammer/slam/shake the songs from their 2005 album "Stowaway" and its 2006 reinterpretation by Scott Solter, "Canonic." It's high time for something new from Pattern is Movement - and Hometapes will be releasing their new album around the turn to Spring (and SXSW) in 2008. This Fall will unveil a limited edition clear-vinyl 7" single from the album, featuring favorite track and sock-knocker "Right Away" and the total-reason-for-getting-your-hands-on-the-vinyl track, "Korea."
