Dallas hip hop / funk / soul supergroup PPT consists of three talented artists and producers: Pikahsso, Picnic and Tahiti. PPT quickly rose to prominence when they won the official Dallas Mavericks playoff theme song contest with their song "Rowdy Loud and Proud." They performed for 20,000 Mavs fans twice during the 2006 NBA Playoffs and appeared in every major media outlet in Dallas, as well as national music video and sports shows. PPT won best Hip Hop artist at the 2007 Dallas Observer Music Awards.


Their debut Idol release Tres Monos In Love is a CD and DVD package consisting of 12 songs and 9 music videos, along with a bunch of bonus footage including the video for "Rowdy Loud & Proud." Tres Monos In Love mixes elements of funk, new wave, rock and R&B, and has a sharp sense of production, musicality and tight harmonies not often heard from hip hop artists. PPT's songs tell stories of awkward memories, bad relationships, lust and modern problems that most of us can relate to.
