Aaron Robinson is a recording artist in Nashville, TN. He is the former singer/songwriter behind the band Imaginary Baseball League, an indie-pop fixture in the southeast from 2001-2005. The band flirted with success, releasing three CDs, opening for numerous national bands, touring the Eastern U.S. extensively, performing at the 2003 CMJ Music Marathon in NYC, and attracting label interest from both coasts. After the band's breakup in 2005, Aaron went on to form the band Young Professionals, making a 2nd appearance at the 2006 CMJ Music Marathon. Young Professionals abruptly split in 2007.
Shortly after the YP breakup, Aaron decided it was time to simplify things. After only a few short weeks of taking out loans, selling off possessions (including the guitar he had used to write nearly ALL of his songs), and raising donations from family, friends, and supporters all over the country, Aaron was back in the studio in May 2007.

Aaron recently completed the recording of his first solo record with producer Neilson Hubbard (Glen Phillips, Garrison Starr, Matthew Perryman Jones) at Hubbard's Mr. Lemons Studio in East Nashville. The album features a mixture of songs both new and old, and features standout performances from Hubbard, Garrison Starr, and Judy Crawley Robinson (Aaron's mother). The record should be mixed and mastered by early September and hopefully will be available for purchase sometime during the fall. Aaron has formed a great band that will be performing with him for the foreseeable future. They made their stage debut on August 13th at Mercy Lounge in Nashville.
