Los Dynamite is a band from Mexico City, founded by Diego Solorzano as a solo project. When Diego realized he needed more hands to play the music that he listened on his mind he recruited 3 of the most talented musicians in the Mexican indie scene:Eduardo Pacheco, Miguel Hernández, and Felipe Botello.

Ironically they titled "Greatest Hits", their debut album. It was released in September of 2006, was produced by Paco Huidobro.

Their first single "T.V." was a great success, as it was chosen by the largest cellular telephone company in Mexico (Telcel) to be the main theme of their campaign in the summer of 2005.

Other singles from the album – "Katatonic", "Ready Ready", "No me sueltes", and "Frenzy" – are all some of the most played songs in the principal alternative radio stations in Mexico, which include Reactor 105.7 and Ibero 90.9. In addition, "24" was chosen for the soundtrack to the Mexican film Dramamex in 2007.

Los Dynamite have been an opening band for groups such as Interpol, Bloc Party, The Killers, Dirty Pretty Things, The Secret Machines, The Kills, Radio 4, and Incubus.

Recently, the New York Times published an article about the independent Mexican music scene which focuses on Los Dynamite as one of Mexico City´s leading indie acts.

Los Dynamite were one of the headliners in the largest music festival held in Mexico, Vive Latino (with 60,000 concert-goers), in May of 2007.
