Soiled Mattress and the Springs is an indefinable instrumental band from New York City. With the lineup of a jazz trio (drums, keyboards, sax), the intensity of 80's hardcore, and a powerful zest for the adult-contemporary genre, they deliver melodic delicacies and delight audiences with odd props and magic tricks and jokes of questionable quality. Soiled Mattress has shared stages with No Age, Japanther, Mika Miko, BARR, Daniel Higgs, Kites, Fat Worm of Error, and Pixel Tan, among many others. They have performed at art openings, holiday craft fairs, basement shows, and pizza parlors. Their new album "Honk Honk Bonk!" is being released in December by Teardrops/Upset the Rhythm.
