David Ford’s new album ‘Songs For The Road’ was described by Word magazine as embodying ‘the eternal thrill of a young man going way too far and pulling it off’. The London Sunday Times put it in their 10 best albums of 2007 list, as did both BBC Radio 2(Simon Mayo Music Club) and Clash magazine.

Ford’s home made 2006 debut album ‘I Sincerely Apologise For All The Trouble I’ve Caused’ received similar praise.

David Ford's powerful and physical live performances have won him great acclaim, both in the UK and the USA where he has toured with Ray Lamontagne, Rodrigo y Gabriella, KT Tunstall and Ingrid Michaelson.

In October 2007 The Guardian newspaper gave his triumphant show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire a perfect 5 out of 5 and said, “ he is becoming simply unmissable”.
