Stalkers are a Brooklyn NY, based band. Playing a brash, exuberant melodic form of garage punk the band is a mainstay of New Yorks burgeoning underground punk scene. Crafting real pop songs and anthems they released their debut CD in early 07. One song in particular, "Let's Get It Together", received a great deal of attention from London's NME and Time Out called it in April 07 the "best record of the year so far".
Numerous offers for shows in UK and Europe followed which resulted in Stalkers signing to premier UK indie, One Little Indian. The band has visit UK 3 times in the last year which included opening at the Leeds and Reading Festival over the summer and a tour in November that concluded with a show in Paris. The band has undergone some line up changes, further information can be found in the bands press piece attached, though an updated version is currently in production.
