Abe the Assassin's style is that of a turntablist, a Party Rocker! He
includes all aspects of djing into his performances, mixing, blending,
live "mash ups" on the fly, cuts and scratches, hot mixing, and the
ocassional jump on the mic and hype up the crowd. Abe has been a member of the Hot 933 mix squad here in Austin for three years and has secured Major residencies at some of Austin's most elite clubs. His career as a dj started over ten years. When asked about his stage name he has this to say"I was dubbed the "Assassin" after numerous nights of club gigs, at
the end of the night people would always come up to me saying "man,
you killed it!", "you killed it!" and then a couple of inside jokes
later it turned into "you murdered it!", "watch out he's an Assassin
on the decks". So what turned out as something funny became serious
and the name stuck.
